Happy Independent Eater

Jasper has loved feeding himself puffs and cheerios pretty much since we started giving him solid food at 6 months. Since then he has moved on to pretty much refusing to let us spoon feed him unless it is something extra tasty like yogurt or apple sauce. So, he has been getting more and more table food that he can eat on his own.

He especially likes:

Meatballs
Bananas
Cheerios
Crackers
Baby Mum Mum
Pineapple

He has also discovered the game of picking up his food and dropping it on the floor piece by piece. We may need to get another dog just to help keep the floor clean, although it could be Jasper's strategy of saving some dinner for later. Once we're done with dinner, he can crawl under the table and help himself to his discards.
