When I got home the other night, Chad already had both kids in their pajamas, and said that Jasper was "screaming like a vampire" the whole time Chad was changing him. I was a little confused by this, thinking that Chad was just mangling a simile, since I never heard of anyone screaming like a vampire (just a banshee), but then Jasper started making this strange happy chhhhhhh sound; not quite a hiss, not quite a scream. See, Chad said, he's screaming like a vampire. Indeed.
He's proceeded to scream like a vampire all weekend. I think he is just practicing his h sounds, and he's very excited about it. He's also been practicing his f sounds, with drawn out fffffffs.
