The family up there has a sheep farm, so Odin got to see and meet all kinds of animals. First we went to see the sheep. There were many many lambs (I forget how many they said there were), and since there was a running joke about my aunt wanting a black lamb, my mom's cousin held up a black lamb for us to see up close. Odin got to see and touch the lamb, and didn't even mind the lamb bleating (loudly) in his face.
Turns out, while we were in the barn looking at the chicks, the horse came over to check out the action. The horse was almost as interested in Odin as he was in the horse, and didn't even mind Odin sticking his hand up his nose. Odin is very interested in what is up people's noses (or maybe it's just my nose), so I guess it shouldn't have been a surprise that he was interested in what was up the horse's nose.
All in all, a good first trip to a farm.
