Will Odin Ever Find his Easter Bucket?

This was the first year that we had an Easter basket (well, bucket) at home for Odin. Usually we just go out to my parents house and do an egg hunt there, but this year Chad thought we should do something at home, too. It made it easier that we only had to do candy and a basket, rather than dieing eggs, too. Apparently at Chad's house, they just hid plastic eggs filled with candy instead of real Easter eggs. So, we followed that model.

Chad bought some pails for the boys and I decorated them with their names and other Easter stuff. Then I made a lovely trip to our local candy store (Sugar Sugar) to get some good candy for their baskets. I figured that since I'd be eating some of the candy, too, I would rather have a smaller amount of high quality candy than a whole bunch of cheap candy.

Then it came time to hide the buckets and the eggs. I think Odin may have spotted an egg or two before the bucket, but we made him get the bucket first. He walked and crawled past it about 4 times before he finally saw it, but once he got it, it didn't take long for him to find all of the eggs and discover there was chocolate inside!
