I got to hang out with Odin on my own on Super Bowl Sunday; after he woke up from his nap and had some snack, he decided he needed his boots and snow pants on so he could go outside. We walked up and down the block and made a few snowballs along the way. After a bit, though, we decided to go play in the backyard. Odin hadn't walked on the snow before, and it was pretty crunchy and uneven. The first few steps he tried to take on the snow were a little unstable, and he kept falling down.
He got his balance after a bit though, and even found some snowballs in his very own back yard.
He did get worn out trying to keep his balance on the snow, so we spent some time playing on his slide, which has been under snow pretty much all winter. It was a challenge for him to get up the steps and down the slide in all his snow gear, but with a little help from his mom, he did it.
